Ingredients
- 2 medium red tomatoes, in large slices
- 1/2 red onion, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 6 green or black olives
- 1 big slice of feta cheese
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp caper
Directions
- Rinse all your vegetables (tomato and cucumber).
- In a large bowl, cut the tomatoes into large slices, 8 slices per tomato.
- Also add the sliced cucumber, onion and green pepper.
- Add the salt and then put the feta cheese on top.
- Now it’s time to add the olives, capers and olive oil.
- Finally add the dried oregano and enjoy!
Notes
- Storage: Store your greek salad in the fridge for a day although it is better to consume immediately.
- Served: Served with
- fresh toasted bread,
- tzatziki sauce,
- beetroot sauce.
